On Wednesday afternoon, I began tackling the huge project of going through my shed. All of the books from my former classroom library were stacked in boxes and crates. When I was a teacher, the first thing people noticed when they would visit my classroom is how many books I had–I had thousands of books. It took me two and a half days to go through each and every box, sorting books into ‘keep forever’, ‘sell’ and ‘giveaway’ piles. It was a huge project.
