Jeweled leggings were seen in a few Fall 2009 shows. It seems that every season, we look for a way to make regular leggings more fabulous and unique. Like cut-out leggings and liquid leggings, the jeweled versions are sure to be a daring trend for the Fall months.


On these models, the glam factor has been played down by pairing the eye-catching leggings with a very conservative outfit. I think we’ll see jeweled leggings worn with much more attention seeking outfits as well. They are great for the rocker-chic look! Or, a nice in-between would be to wear a same colored tunic that hits mid-thigh.


As we near Fall, watch for Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 to carry an affordable version.


Personally, I like the look. I won’t be pairing jeweled leggings with studded heels and hot pants, but the monochromatic tunic will look great for a night out! I want to hear from you though…
