Is Camel Leather a Trend?
But, there were also a few camel leather pieces. These coats, dresses and skirts definitely caught my eye. They were sophisticated and smoother (would that be the antithesis of edgy?) than their black leather counterparts. They were also seasonally out of place since camel leather is usually reserved for Spring and Summer collections.

Considering most of us have tighter budgets this Fall, it’s nice to have an option that is appropriate for any season and classic enough to last for more than a few months. Camel leather is also neutral enough to be worn with many different colors.
Though gorgeous on the runway, camel leather was pretty sparse. Luckily, retail has a finger on the pulse of what most shoppers want because it’s abundant in stores this Fall. Here are examples of camel leather purses, boots and jackets for Fall 2009.

A trend?
So, back to the original question. Is Camel Leather a trend? It may not have been huge on the runways nor as trendy as black leather, but it is a sophisticated, stylish option for Fall and beyond.
What do you think? Are you a fan of camel leather for Fall? Or, should it be reserved for warmer seasons?

I love that camel is in just as I need to buy a new purse. It’s my fave all-season colour. It allows me to really splurge on a well-made and/or big name purse and know it will still look fab and stylish in the years to come.
I might just have to get a new leather jacket in camel too. I think a camel motorcycle jacket will look less Joan Jett and more feminine… better for my workplace.

Definitely! I just purchased a nice camel bag. Paid more than I have on a purse ever because I know it will have staying power. I really like the camel motorcycle jackets, too! Super cute. My ultimate Fall shopping item though is a pair of camel leather riding boots.
