Gap 1969 Premium Jeans
Forget the unevolved, basic fits Gap has offered for far too long. Today, Gap officially released their 1969 Premium Denim line. This rework of Gap’s denim line was led by Patrick Robinson who felt the store’s denim had become stagnant. The new line features “heavy-gauge thread and single-needle stitching,” “vintage-inspired busted side seams” and fashion forward cuts like the Always Skinny and the Real Straight. What’s fantastic is that these designer-worthy jeans are budget-friendly, priced less than $75.
Today though, you can buy 1969 Premium Jeans for $20 less, making them right around $40. A pretty good deal, if you ask me…
Gap hasn’t really done it for me lately. Maybe this line will pull them out of the slump they’ve fallen into. What do you think?
