The spotlight on Zac Posen’s Spring 2009 Collection was almost lost to the sheer number of celebrities in the audience. Try to find images and you’re hard-pressed to find images of the actual collection. Instead, you find Bette Midler, Anna Wintour, Claire Danes, the Williams sisters, Juliette Lewis, Jada Pinkett-Smith…the list continues.
If the clothes weren’t enough to impress me (which they were), the theater of the show was. Fast-paced and upbeat, the show was very well-timed and ordered. The color palette seemed to order the show, beginning with pale yellows, blues, pinks and corals and ending with black. Here’s what I saw:
