Fashion Week Spring 2009–Nanette Lepore

September 10th, 2008 by crystal

First of all, check out all those ladies! It looked like Nanette Lepore only outfitted each model in one outfit. Thus, the final walk included every outfit from the show! By the time the start of the line was heading backstage, models were still coming out onto the runway. Wow!
Nanette Lepore’s Spring 2009 Collection is characterized by very feminine, flowy, floral pieces that are paired with not as feminine accessories such as wide belts and chunky heels. A few models were even wearing moccasin looking flats! Here’s what I saw:

ruffles at the hem
mint green
ruffled shirts
satins
florals
shortsuit
high-waisted shorts
chartreuse
dresses with uneven hems
long jackets
flats
neutrals paired with bright colors
florals paired with browns
