Michael Angel’s Spring 2009 Collection was first on today’s schedule at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. His collection for this spring is fabulous, characterized predominantly by metallics. Most of the apparel was very feminine, flowy and artistic. Here’s a list of what I saw:
metallics (in almost every outfit)
see-through, gauzy material
neutral colors (the only bold colors he used were blue and a little teal)
art Prints (almost a watercolor style)
high-waisted shorts
asymmetrical dresses
pants, skirts and shorts with side panels made out of different materials
mini skirts and dresses
yellow & black paired together
flowing, airy maxi dresses
