Fashion Week Spring 2009–Matthew Williamson

September 9th, 2008 by crystal

So, I am officially a Matthew Williamson fan. I LOVED this show! Super pretty, playful, sophisticated pieces…and so colorful! My only ‘eeek’ was the few tie-dye pieces. Not cool then, not cool now. I say that and watch tie-dye make a huge come back. God, I hope not!
I know I said this just in my last post, but I’ll say it again: these pieces are definitely ones we’ll see on celebs this Spring. They scream trendy and casual, but still sophisticated and chic. I adore so many of the pieces I saw in this collection, but I especially love the pink suit! So cute! Very Elle Woods…
Here’s what I saw:

pink suit
cropped pants
leather
satins
pink with red
dress length (or longer) jackets
high-waisted pants
yellow
pocket dresses
mint green
jewels
tapestry fabrics
flowy dresses
African prints
pantsuit
shortsuit
tie-dye (eek)
zip-leg cropped pants
metallics
purple with pink
asymmetrical dresses
tight ruffles
ruffled hem
