Fashion Week Spring 2009–Brian Reyes
September 10th, 2008 by crystal

Most of the pieces in Brian Reyes’s Spring 2009 Collection are of the wear-to-work variety, consisting of many suit pieces that are equally trendy and classic. As we’ve seen in other shows, many dresses and skirt combos were paired with longer blazers or top layers. Brian Reyes’s color palette included, my favorite, chartreuse as well as the popular orange and mint green. Here’s what I saw:
neutrals–tan, white, grey
bell bottoms
mint green, chartreuse, orange
high-waisted skirts
stripes
gauzy material
long blazers

[...] Color is a huge consideration for pieces this Spring. So much so that it should be listed as a trend in and of itself. Bright colors were seen at Fashion Week including lemon yellows, neon oranges, chartreuse, fuschia and bright blues. Black and white are a staple and were present as well as neutrals such as tans and greys. Muted brights such as mint-green and coral are also big. Check out this post at collegefashion for a discussion of the Pantone list of colors for Spring Fashion. Shown: Brian Reyes [...]
