Fashion Distraction: Ralph Lauren Fall 2009

May 25th, 2009 by crystal

Ralph Lauren’s Fall 2009 collection is pretty, pretty, pretty!! Super feminine, elegant and classic, these designs are a huge improvement from his Spring line of too-trendy harem pants and safari attire. Any of these designs are perfect for this Fall as well as the next 10 Fall seasons; they’re just so timeless. What’s more, they’re perfect for everyday wear. The series of suiting offered varieties for every style from rugged-equestrian to elegant-business woman. The evening gowns offered the same with a nice mix of full, flowing and fitted silk gowns.

Themes from the Ralph Lauren Fall 2009 collection:

one-shoulder dresses and tops
3 piece suits
fur collars
ruffle collars
cocoon coats
fair isle knits
silk pants
carrot pants
jewel tones
neutrals

Honestly I didn’t know that’s Ralph Loren style - except of the first two outfits, everything else looks kind a “heavy” and too conservative… I don’t know, maybe I should look more into their collections to get to know that style.

Yeah, his style definitely leans conservative slash preppy slash equestrian slash luxury. Go to style.com and check out past collections for quick background.
