Fashion Distraction: Michael Kors Fall 2009

April 13th, 2009 by crystal

I LOVE this collection! Michael Kors kept things simple, yet sophisticated for his Fall 2009 collection. The looks are real-life ready in classic, sleek, tailored designs. In speaking about his line, he called it ‘pragmatic luxury’. I take that to mean classic pieces that can be worn for more than just one season, in more than just one environment. Many of the pieces are perfect for the office. Others are ideal cocktail dresses that could be dressed up for dressy events. I think we’ll see many celebrities wearing these pieces next Fall.
Really, the only thing that wasn’t so realistic were the super fluffy neon hats. I don’t see many women wearing those. Their neon dress counterparts, however, will definitely be spotted next Fall!

I love everything from Michael Kors - from the clothes, to the shoes and accessories. Everything has style and unique design. Just one concern - not very affordable, even old collections…

this is the most amazing collection ever. I say this about all his pieces though. I would die for the cut out suite

Yeah…the cut-out suit is pretty amazing. And, I LOVE the yellow and pink dresses! *sigh*
