Fashion Distraction: Brian Reyes Fall 2009

I have to admit that the first time I watched this show, all I could focus on was the dangerous Manolo situation. The second time around, I saw the amazing pieces Reyes designed for this collection. Inspired by marble and limestone quarries, the designs combined “classic shapes with graphic elements”. Though the colors and textures of the pieces were Fall appropriate, the cuts were more reminiscent of a Spring collection. Tights and heavy coats are a must to make these pieces suitable for the cooler months.
