Fall 2008 Fashion Trend–Chunky Knits

How nice to be both fashionable AND warm this Fall! Chunky sweaters are in this season, but should definitely be worn with caution. Donning a huge sweater can easily turn your look from sexy to frumpy. I’m not even so sure about Blake Lively’s look (see pic below)…she’s borderline frumpy there. She does, however, show the right accompaniment to the chunky knit: skinny pants, tights or a pencil skirt. Wearing loose jeans or a full skirt will make this look SO wrong.

Like I said above, I think Blake Lively has the right idea here with what she’s paired her Chunky Sweater with. I just think it’s the wrong Chunky Sweater. What do you think?
