I fell in love with Carlos Miele with his Fall 2008 show. His pieces are always very creative and artistic. This show was no different. Drawing inspiration from architecture, Miele’s designs were geometric with a focus on line. Whereas most designers who use architecture and geometry for inspiration fail to create pieces that accentuate the body’s beauty and shape, Miele’s collection did the opposite. Each of his pieces fit well and accentuated the beauty of his models. The same will be true for customers who purchase his pieces.
