Fashion Distraction: Miu Miu Fall 2009
This collection was shown on the runway in four different parts: the coat dresses, upholstery fabrics, the gauze separates and the jeweled skirts. I was only a fan of the coat dresses. Miu Miu is intended to be the everyday, younger version of the Prada line. This collection’s upholstery fabrics, long librarian cuts and bejeweled jewel tones was far from youthful, nor was it daily wear with its necklines that plunged to belly buttons. Let’s focus on the good, though. The coat dresses were amazing. Miuccia Prada took the traditional trench and draped, cut-out and buttoned to create amazingly sexy coat dresses.

That’s my favorite piece, too! Love the coat-dresses.

I love the necklines! The loose bulky fabric, the patterns and the jewels give this line a bohemian look in my mind. However, the plunging necklines with the nude bras are not quite as practical but could work for certain occasions. I would def. wear these clothes.. especially the first 4 and the one with the fur! Very Sexy!
Also, I’d like to comment on how much I enjoy your emails and website. This is something I would love to do –if you ever need some help I would be delighted to write an article or help with research. Send me an email if you’re interested. I hope we get in touch. -Megan

Yeah, I’m partial to the first four as well. I can see what you mean about it looking bohemian…maybe bohemian bourgeouis?
